3 Steps to Recovery
Assessment
We’ll begin an assessment over the phone when you call us to learn more about our addiction treatment programs. This ensures that we can meet your treatment needs at our facilities. We’ll also learn more about your addiction as well as any co-occurring mental health disorders you may have.
Approval
Following an assessment, we’ll work on ensuring that the costs of addiction treatment aren’t a barrier for you. This means getting approval for services through your insurance provider. We partner with some of the most common insurance providers in order to help you get the treatment you need.
Admissions
Once you’re approved, you’ll officially be admitted into our program. An admission counselor will guide you through orientation. After that, you’ll have an in-person assessment with our medical and psychiatric treatment team to begin creating your individualized recovery plan.

Why The Retreat of Atlanta?
At The Retreat of Atlanta, our luxury detox and residential treatment experience offers a luxury and personalized approach to addiction treatment. By utilizing a trauma-informed approach, we believe that addiction is a brain disorder that requires professional intervention for recovery.
At The Retreat, we believe that the opposite of addiction is connection. Many of our staff members are in recovery themselves and know exactly what you’re going through. With a small staff to client ratio, we believe an intimate detox setting is essential for change.
Just because you’ve completed detox or residential treatment, doesn’t mean that recovery ends. In fact, studies show that the longer someone stays in treatment, the better chances they have at maintaining sobriety. We help provide guidance to aftercare services and continue to follow up with you once you’ve left.
We understand detox can be overwhelming. We allow clients to have mobile devices and laptops on a case-by-case basis.
